The goal is to apply AI-assisted techniques to fine-tune every layer of my Node.js stack—front-end and back-end alike—so the app runs faster, scales smoothly, and remains secure without dragging out development time.

Current pain points
• Heavy load hits both the client-side UI and the server logic at peak traffic.
• API routes—especially the ones wired for real-time interactions—lag under pressure.
• I want to leverage AI tooling to accelerate refactors, pinpoint bottlenecks, and keep future iterations lean.

Scope of work
1. Analyse the full stack (code, infrastructure, and database touchpoints) to surface performance, scalability, and security gaps.
2. Refactor or rewrite critical modules and API endpoints with AI-guided optimisation (e.g., GPT-assisted code review, linting, and test generation).
3. Implement measurable improvements—lower latency, higher throughput, lighter resource consumption—then benchmark before/after to verify gains.
4. Document the revamped architecture and provide a concise optimisation playbook so the team can repeat results on new features.

Acceptance criteria
• Average response time of key endpoints reduced by an agreed-upon percentage.
• Automated test suite passes with no regressions.
• All changes committed with clear comments explaining AI-generated or AI-refined code segments.
• Deployment notes and performance metrics delivered in a short report.

Node.js, Express, WebSockets, and any AI workflow you prefer (Copilot, GPT-based scripts, custom ML models) can be used—as long as the final product is readable, maintainable, and demonstrably faster.
