Playwright UI & API Automation

I’m expanding our automated test coverage and need someone who already feels at home in Playwright after at least two solid years of day-to-day use. The work is purely for testing, not scraping or performance checks, and everything has to execute smoothly on macOS against the latest stable build of Chrome.

You’ll be writing both UI flows and supporting API calls so that every user journey can be validated end-to-end inside the same Playwright test suite. Clean, readable TypeScript (or JavaScript) is a must, as the rest of the repository follows that style. I value maintainability over clever one-liners, so please follow Playwright’s best practices for fixtures, page objects, and parallel execution.

Deliverables I’m expecting:
• A modular Playwright project configured for macOS, targeting Chrome
• Robust UI scenarios with accompanying API mocks or live calls as appropriate
• JUnit or Allure style reports generated through the Playwright test runner
• A concise README describing setup, env variables, and how to extend the suite

I’ll review by running the suite locally; the job is complete once it passes without manual tweaks and the reports clearly document pass/fail status. If that sounds like your everyday workflow, let’s talk.
