Pet Transport CRM & Portal
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a single, unified system that keeps every stakeholder in a pet-transport journey fully informed from pickup to delivery. The CRM must handle three core areas:
• Pet tracking – real-time GPS on a live map, periodic health-status check-ins (temperature, food/water, stress notes), and an automatically stored travel-history log that can be exported.
• Driver management – assign loads, push route updates, capture driver-reported events, and monitor performance without leaving the dashboard.
• Customer communication – branded email/SMS notifications at key milestones, a self-service portal where owners can watch live progress, and a ticket thread that ties every message to the corresponding trip record.
User roles are Drivers, Dispatchers, and Customers, each logging in to a view tailored to just what they need. Drivers will mainly work from a mobile-friendly portal for quick status taps and document uploads; Dispatchers require a full web dashboard with schedule, map, and chat; Customers access a simplified tracking page plus messaging.
I’m platform-agnostic, but the stack must support live GPS feeds (Google Maps API, Mapbox, or similar) and be flexible enough for future native-app wrappers. Clean, modular code and clear API documentation are essential so the system can grow as volume increases.
Deliverables
• Working web application with separate role-based dashboards
• Source code in a private repo, install/run instructions, and documented REST/GraphQL endpoints
• Database schema and migration scripts
• Two-week warranty period for bug fixes after hand-over
Acceptance is complete when I can create a shipment, assign it to a test driver, see the pet move on the map, receive health updates, and watch notifications arrive in a customer test account without errors.
