Optimize Kalshi Order Placement Bot (Async Python) + Prepare Advanced API Application

Description:

I’m looking for an experienced Python engineer with strong async programming and API experience to help improve performance and reliability in my Kalshi trading automation system.

The project involves two parts:

1️⃣ Optimize the Order Placement Module

The current order placement file (E__place_orders.py) is functional but could be improved for speed, reliability, and efficiency — especially around amending existing orders.

You’ll focus on:
Making order amendments faster and more consistent.
Ensuring minimal latency between estimation updates and Kalshi API writes.
Improving retry handling, batching, and async scheduling of writes (create/amend/cancel).
Reducing redundant or conflicting order updates.
General reliability improvements for live trading conditions.

2️⃣ Prepare an “Advanced API Access” Application for Kalshi

Please provide a short writeup that outlines code testing and methodologies for error handling, and maintains real time position monitoring. *
