What you will handle
• Audit the existing repository, refactor where it genuinely adds clarity or speed, and document any structural changes.
• Watch live metrics, respond to errors, and apply hot-fixes before they affect end-users.
• Add incremental features we plan together—anything from smarter reply flows to external service hooks—without disrupting what already works.
• Guard compliance with WhatsApp’s rate limits, webhook security, and message templates, validating each release in a staging environment.

Acceptance criteria
• Each commit lands with a concise changelog and unit tests.
• No regressions in response time, reliability, or resource usage against current benchmarks.
• Any new feature ships fully functional, documented, and ready for handover.

The stack already includes the official WhatsApp Cloud API plus containerised deployment, so comfort with REST webhooks, queues, and cloud monitoring is essential. When you respond, share one or two bots you have kept healthy in production and outline how you would tackle the first optimisation sprint.
