Optimize Baileys WhatsApp Web
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
My Baileys-based WhatsApp integration is working, but it is starting to lag under heavier traffic. I need an experienced developer who knows the Baileys library inside out to:
• Profile the current code, identify the CPU, memory and I/O bottlenecks, and refactor or re-architect where necessary to improve throughput and lower latency.
• Verify that every optimised change remains fully compatible with the Web version of WhatsApp, including session handling, QR login, message sending/receiving, media uploads and reconnection logic.
• Provide a concise report of the issues discovered, the steps taken to fix them and before-and-after performance metrics (e.g. average response time, messages per second, memory footprint).
Acceptance criteria
– Messages and media must send and arrive in under two seconds in a sustained test with at least 200 concurrent conversations.
– No functional regressions when accessed exclusively through WhatsApp Web.
– Clear documentation and commented code so future maintenance is straightforward.
You will have direct access to the current repository and a staging server for load testing. I can spin up extra test nodes or supply sample data if needed. Once optimisation and compatibility checks are complete, we will run a final stress test together before sign-off.
