We are seeking a skilled freelance developer to integrate Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) POS API with our ENTUGO platform, a customer loyalty and digital marketing solution for food and beverage businesses (restaurants, cafes, bars, etc.) in the UK, Germany, and India. ENTUGO uses QR codes for customer engagement, automated loyalty rewards (TUGO Coins), Google Reviews, and analytics. Our tech stack is Node.js (backend), React with Shadcn (frontend), Prisma ORM, and Amazon RDS Aurora database.
Project Scope:
Primary Task: Lightspeed Integration
Sync QR-based orders from ENTUGO to Lightspeed for fulfillment.
Pull bill amounts and transaction data from Lightspeed to automatically apply discounts and award TUGO Coins.
Handle customer data exchange (e.g., registrations) and real-time updates via webhooks.
Update ENTUGO's analytics dashboard with synced KPIs (e.g., sales trends, redemption ratios).
Ensure multi-location support and GDPR compliance for our target markets.
Secondary Task: Expand to Other POS Systems
After successful Lightspeed integration, extend to 2-3 other popular POS like Toast, Square, or Clover (based on API availability).
Create modular code for easy future additions.
Tech Requirements:
Use Node.js for API calls (e.g., Axios for RESTful endpoints), webhooks, and backend logic.
Integrate with Prisma for database updates (e.g., new fields like lightspeed_order_id).
Minor React updates for UI in the client portal (e.g., displaying synced data).
Follow our existing codebase structure; we'll provide access via Git.
Deliverables:
Fully functional integration with testing in sandbox environments.
