.NET Insurance Policy API

I’m building a REST-based .NET API dedicated to policy management for an Indian insurance platform. The immediate scope is twofold: enabling seamless policy creation and automating renewals, all while exchanging customer data with our existing CRM system in real time.

You’ll be working in C# on .NET 6/7, applying clean-architecture patterns, Entity Framework (SQL Server), and secure OAuth2/JWT authentication. Because this sits inside an IRDA-regulated environment, I expect production-ready logging, error handling, and audit trails that match standard compliance practices in the Indian market.

A minimum of three years’ hands-on experience delivering insurance solutions in India is essential—you should already understand typical policy lifecycles, endorsement logic, and common integration constraints with local CRM vendors.

Deliverables
• Fully functional REST API covering:
 – CreatePolicy, RenewPolicy endpoints
 – Bi-directional CRM sync (webhooks or polling, whichever you recommend)
• Swagger/OpenAPI 3.0 documentation and a concise developer guide
• Unit and integration tests with ≥80 % code coverage
• Dockerfile or Azure App Service deployment script
• One demo session walking through setup, calls, and edge-case handling

Acceptance criteria include successful CRUD operations verified against test cases, latency within agreed SLAs, and clean static-code-analysis reports.
