Meta API Marketplace Connector

Project Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Meta API developer to build a marketplace connector that links our existing API Hub to Facebook and Instagram Marketplace.
Our goal is to fully automate product listings, updates, and order management within Meta’s commerce ecosystem.

You’ll help us:

- Integrate our system with Meta’s APIs (Graph API, Commerce API, Catalog Management, etc.).

- Synchronize product data, pricing, and inventory from our API Hub.

- Manage the full listing lifecycle — creation, update, status tracking, and order completion.


Key Responsibilities:

- Review our API Hub documentation and design an integration flow with Meta’s API structure.

- Develop endpoints for:

* Product listing creation

* Listing updates (price, stock, description)

* Status and availability synchronization

* Order retrieval and fulfillment reporting

- Ensure compliance with Meta’s Commerce & API requirements.

- Test the connector using sandbox/test environments.

- Provide technical documentation and ongoing advisory support for optimization.


Required Expertise:

- Proven experience with Meta Graph API and Commerce Manager API (Facebook & Instagram Marketplace).

- Understanding of product catalog, business assets, and permissions in Meta Business Suite.

Experience building API connectors or middleware integrations.

Familiarity with OAuth, webhooks, and RESTful API design.

Strong debugging and testing skills.

Deliverables:

- Technical design document outlining integration architecture and variable mappings.

- Marketplace connector (fully functional middleware or script) enabling:

* Product creation

* Listing updates

* Status/availability synchronization

* Order retrieval & completion

- List of all variables and parameters needed for:

* Listing creation

* Listing alterations (price, inventory, etc.)

* Status updates

- Demo/Test environment access to verify functionality.

- Deployment and documentation for production use.


Payment Terms:

Payment will be released only after the following milestones are verified:

- Connector Setup & Authentication Success

- Product Listings Successfully Created

- Orders Accessible and Processed on Facebook & Instagram
