Market Data & OpenAI Integration
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I run a fully custom React JS platform that presents investment dashboards to our users. I now need the site to pull live security-market data—specifically stock prices, detailed company financials, and the complete annual and quarterly reports for every covered company to summarize the data—directly from the Corporate data API provider we license.
The task breaks down into two connected pieces:
1) API hookup
• Authenticate against the vendor’s security market corporate API.
• Build efficient React-friendly service calls (REST or GraphQL, whichever the API supports) that return stock prices, financial statements, and the full text of 10-K / 10-Q-style filings.
• Cache or paginate data so pages stay fast even when a user requests multiple companies at once.
2) AI-driven analysis layer
• Pipe the fetched filings and key ratios into the OpenAI API.
• Generate concise fundamental insights: year-over-year comparisons, red-flag detection, and plain-English summaries.
• Return the AI output to my existing component tree so it renders alongside the raw numbers.
Acceptance criteria
– A demo route in my repo showing real-time pulls of at least one company’s stock price, balance sheet, and last four reports.
– A React component that displays an OpenAI-generated summary under each report section.
– Clear setup notes (ENV variables, npm scripts) so I can replicate the build on staging.
If you’re comfortable with React, asynchronous data fetching, and OpenAI prompt design, this should be a straightforward integration. I can supply API keys and current code access as soon as we agree on milestones.
