Laravel Go Backend Bug Fix

I need an experienced PHP-Laravel developer who is also comfortable reading and tweaking small services that sit alongside the main app. My immediate goal is to eliminate two persistent pain points in the backend: intermittent API errors and noticeable performance slow-downs under load.

Additionally, these legacy PHP svcs are going to be sunset in favor of GoLang.

Here’s what success looks like to me:
• Every API endpoint returns consistent, correct responses with proper error handling.
• Average response time and CPU usage drop to an acceptable threshold agreed during kickoff.
• All fixes are covered by automated tests (PHPUnit for Laravel, `go test` where you touch Go code) and pass in CI.
• A concise changelog explains the root cause and remediation steps so the in-house team can maintain the patches.
