About Us
We are building a modern, scalable digital platform that powers e-commerce and interactive design experiences for trade professionals. Our backend is built on Laravel, utilizing Aimeos as the e-commerce engine, and is supported by AWS cloud infrastructure and integrations for payments, social logins, and third-party services.

We are seeking an experienced Laravel/Aimeos Developer to join our team and help us scale new features, optimize performance, and maintain a clean, secure, and reliable codebase.



Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend features using Laravel and Aimeos e-commerce framework.
• Build and optimize APIs for product management, checkout, and customer workflows.
• Implement and maintain integrations with AWS S3, AWS SQS, and SendGrid.
• Manage user authentication flows, including Laravel Passport (OAuth2) and social login integrations (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn).
• Work with MySQL databases — design schema, optimize queries, and ensure scalability.
• Maintain and extend Swagger API documentation for internal and external use.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and DevOps to ensure seamless deployments.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high uptime and performance.



Requirements
• 3+ years professional experience with Laravel (PHP framework).
• Hands-on experience with Aimeos (required).
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, PHP 7+, and Composer.
• Familiarity with LEMP/LAMP environments (Nginx or Apache).
• Experience with Docker for local development and deployments.
• Knowledge of REST API design and documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and cloud services (AWS, SendGrid).
• Understanding of queues and async jobs (AWS SQS preferred).
• Proficient with Git workflows (branching, pull requests, merges).
• Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.



Nice-to-Haves
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with Aimeos customization for catalogs, attributes, and checkout workflows.
• Understanding of security best practices in Laravel and e-commerce.
