Laravel API Integration Developer
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m enhancing a custom web application built on the Laravel framework and need robust API integration completed. The core goal is to connect the app to a specific third-party API, handle authentication, map and store responses, and expose clean endpoints in our codebase.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Solid PHP and Laravel (v9 or v10) skills with at least one year of professional web-development experience.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful services, including error handling, rate-limit management, and data sanitisation.
• Ability to write modular, well-documented code and create concise migration or seeding scripts where needed.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as PHPUnit or Pest to cover critical integration logic.
Key tasks:
1. Review the existing repository, identify integration points, and propose a clear plan.
2. Build the API client layer, incorporating any SDKs or crafting custom Guzzle requests as required.
3. Parse and persist returned data in Eloquent models, ensuring relationships and indexing remain performant.
4. Provide straightforward routes/controllers so our frontend can consume the new data.
5. Commit code through Git with meaningful messages, and walk me through the changes in a quick hand-off call or screencast.
I’ll supply full API docs, access keys, and an overview of the current data model after kickoff. If you’ve connected Laravel apps to external services before and enjoy clean, maintainable code, this will be a smooth collaboration.
