Intelligent SOP Search Tool

I’m building a smart, self-service search experience that lets employees and managers type a question and instantly see the most relevant passage from our SOP collection or the employee handbook.
Here’s the flow I need implemented: an intuitive search box on desktop and mobile; behind the scenes the question is cleaned up for synonyms, typos and even casual slang; the refined query is then matched, in parallel, against both document sets; finally, the best-scoring section is returned in a clear, readable format.
An admin-only screen must let us upload new or revised SOP PDFs or handbook updates and have them indexed automatically without downtime.
To succeed on this project you’ll design the front-end interface, wire it to an NLP layer that handles synonym expansion, spelling correction and slang recognition, and connect it all to a fast search backend capable of dual matching. I’ll look for clean, well-documented code, a lightweight deployment guide, and a short demo video proving accurate retrieval on both desktop and mobile views.
