IBM WebMethods B2B API Automation

I need an experienced integration specialist to connect our business applications through IBM / webMethods APIs and B2B adapters so we can move from manual hand-offs to fully automated workflows. The overarching target is process automation; if, during discovery, you see benefits for extra data-sync or reporting hooks, I am open to hearing those ideas, but the core measure of success is straight-through processing with no human touch points.

Scope of work
• Analyse our current endpoints and map the transactions that must flow between internal systems and external trading partners.
• Design and build REST, SOAP or EDI/AS2 interfaces on webMethods Integration Server (or the equivalent IBM middleware components we already license).
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and retry logic, with security controls such as SSL, OAuth 2.0 and certificate management aligned to our compliance standards.
• Provide deployment packages and step-by-step run-books so my in-house team can promote the code from test to production without surprises.
• Produce concise technical documentation that outlines the API contracts, message schemas and any B2B partner profiles you create.

Acceptance criteria
1. All automated flows run end-to-end in our UAT environment for 72 hours with zero manual intervention.
2. Error and success messages are visible in the webMethods Monitor and sent to our SIEM via a webhook.
3. Code, configuration files and documentation are delivered in a Git repository with clear commit history.
