Gemini API Cloud Console Setup

I already have a fresh Gemini API key in hand; what I’m missing is the correct setup inside Google Cloud Console so the key actually works in production.
Your job is to jump into my Cloud Console, create or select the appropriate project, and fully configure API access for the Gemini API only. That means enabling the service, adding the key in the right place, applying any required OAuth or service-account permissions, and verifying that requests from my app succeed without quota or auth errors.
