Full-Stack Travel Booking Platform

Job ID: 39810195

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I need a production-ready, full-stack travel booking platform called TripMittar. The React (Vite) front-end must feel instantly responsive: clean layouts, intuitive flows, and lightning-fast search so travellers can find buses, trains, hotels, and flights in seconds. On the server side, an Express.js API should power all bookings, handle user accounts, and expose endpoints for a dedicated “Tour Packages” section.

Key integrations
• Railway API for real-time train schedules, fares, and PNR validation
• Razorpay and Stripe for secure payments (cards, UPI, wallets) with webhooks for booking confirmation and refunds
• Any necessary bus, flight, and hotel data sources you normally use, wired in a way that lets me swap providers later

Core features to implement
• Unified search with filters; results sorted by price, duration, or departure time
• Side-by-side comparison pages and a persistent cart that can mix transport modes and hotels
• Tour package catalogue with image galleries, pricing tiers, and instant booking
• User profiles, saved trips, and wish-lists
• Admin dashboard for inventory management, coupon codes, and real-time sales reports

Tech expectations
React 18 + Vite, React Router, Zustand or Redux Toolkit for state, Tailwind or Material UI for styling; Node 18, Express.js, MongoDB (preferred) or PostgreSQL; TypeScript end-to-end with eslint and prettier already wired; Docker-compose for local spin-up; GitHub Actions CI pipeline.

Deliverables
1. Complete source code with README covering environment setup, env variables, and deployment to a VPS or AWS Lightsail.
2. Postman collection / OpenAPI spec documenting every route.
3. Seed data scripts and a demo video walking through search, booking, payment, and admin flows.

I value readable, well-commented code and unit tests for critical modules (payments, booking engine). If you have relevant live examples, feel free to mention them in your bid.
