Freelance Directory With Project Posting

I’m building a professional-services directory that caters specifically to the freelancing community. The heart of the platform will be a project-posting feature that lets clients list work opportunities directly for independent professionals. While my immediate priority is getting this core workflow designed and developed, the overall vision is a robust professional services directory that ultimately connects the 89-million-plus users I serve.

Scope of this phase
• Plan and develop the end-to-end project-posting flow, from “Create a project” through to a live listing visible in the directory.
• Build an intuitive search/browse page so freelancers can quickly locate relevant projects.
• Ensure the system stores essential metadata for future expansion to user profiles and a rating system.

Key requirements
• Clean, responsive UI that feels trustworthy and business-oriented.
• Scalable backend architecture (I’m open to your recommended stack) with clear API endpoints for future mobile or third-party integration.
• Basic admin dashboard to approve, edit, or remove project listings.
• Security best practices for authentication and data protection.

Deliverables
1. Wireframes and UI mockups for the project-posting journey.
2. Functional web prototype demonstrating project creation, listing, and search.
3. Technical documentation covering setup, dependencies, and how to extend the codebase for upcoming features like user profiles.
