Fix Node.js AI Server

My AI “girlfriend” chatbot, written in Node.js, suddenly stopped responding after its original Chinese developer disappeared. I still have the full repo and the accompanying documentation, yet the production instance now stays silent to every request.

Here’s what I need right away:

• Diagnose why the current Node.js server no longer responds (it previously ran fine on an Ubuntu VPS).
• Patch or refactor the codebase so the API answers again and the conversational model functions as before.
• Provide a concise changelog and any setup commands you add or modify so I can reproduce the fix on staging and production.

Acceptance is simple: the /chat endpoint must return replies within normal latency, logging no uncaught errors for at least 48 hours of continuous uptime.

I’m based in Canada and have found time-zone alignment important, so I’d love to collaborate with developers in Europe or North America for this and the stream of follow-up projects already in the pipeline. Once this first task is stable, we can move on to feature upgrades and new AI products together.
