Express.js API Build Integration
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
The front-end of my application is already complete and the database schema is about 90 % finalised. Over the next 20 days I need the entire server side brought to life with production-ready Express.js APIs, fully documented in Swagger and wired up to the React front-end. If you have already worked on building a job portfolio like Linkedin Jobs or Naukri this is going to be very easy for you.
Authentication will be handled through a simple API Key strategy. The endpoints must cover full CRUD operations across the existing resources, a lightweight user-management module and an analytics / reporting layer that the UI team has stubbed out.
I expect professional error handling—each response should include meaningful codes, descriptive messages and be written to a central logger so issues can be traced quickly in production.
Deliverables
• RESTful Express.js API that plugs into the current DB schema
• Swagger (OpenAPI) file and hosted docs route
• Integration with the front-end (all calls live and functional)
• Centralised error-handling middleware with code, message and logging
• Brief hand-off guide so my team can maintain or extend the code
Tech stack you’ll touch: Node.js, Express.js, Swagger / OpenAPI, any logging library you prefer (Winston, Pino, etc.),
Everything needs to be pushed to our private Git repo with incremental commits so progress is visible. Let’s get this API finished, documented and online within the 20-day window(very strict)
