Endpoint Monitoring Client & Dashboard
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a lightweight client that installs on each workstation in my network and quietly gathers system performance metrics, the full list of installed applications, user-activity traces, network information, log files, memory dumps and relevant temp data. The agent should encrypt this payload and stream it to a central server that you will also build.
On my side I want a server service with a web dashboard where I can see every endpoint’s health in near real-time, launch on-demand audits and receive automated alerts on suspicious behaviour. The dashboard must help me:
• perform daily hardware / software audits
• run vulnerability assessments (missing patches, weak configurations)
• carry out basic malware analysis, e.g. hash checks or YARA rules
• export concise PDF or CSV reports for management
Key points
– Traffic between agent and server must be TLS-encrypted and mutually authenticated.
– Client footprint has to stay minimal; low RAM/CPU usage is vital.
– I am flexible on the tech stack (Go, Rust, C#, Python are all fine) as long as the server can run on my existing Ubuntu machine.
– The solution should be modular so extra data sources can be added later.
Deliverables
1. Cross-compiled agent for Windows (with a silent installer)
2. Server service with REST or gRPC API plus a responsive web dashboard
3. Source code in a private repository, including build scripts
4. Deployment & configuration documentation
5. Short live demo showing a workstation feeding data to the dashboard and an audit report running successfully
I will sign off once I can reproduce the full data flow in my lab without errors. Let me know if anything needs clarifying before we start.
