Ecommerce Website Development for JanPal - Janitorial, Cleaning & Hygiene Products (UK)
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Build a professional slick B2C website (www.janpal.co.uk) to supply Cleaning, Hygiene & Janitorial Products to Schools, Colleges, Care Homes, Contract Cleaners, Hotels and Facilities Management Companies.
We are looking to pull products from our ERP as the central source of truth, i.e. stock code, Product Name, Multiple Unit's of Sales, i.e. EACH, PACK-10 for the same product (all in the ERP) and also pull out pricing from the via a price list for JanPal.
An example of multiple units of sale is: https://www.avica-uk.com/cp/carpet_spot_and_stain_remover_selden_750ml_spray/SELT012-750
Where you can select (Single) or (6x750ml)
We want to be able to build a site thet can be able to be used on a Multi-Site basis where we can showcase different home pages, i.e. JanPal, CleanQuip, Hygienol, Janitex, AbcoHygiene, AbcoHealthcare. This is all pulling products from the same ERP, and we want to be able to share the same admin panel to centralise the product data.
The general API documentation is here: https://interprise.caterclean.com/interprise.web.services.live
We wont be having every product on the ERP on the website, we want to be able to select which products are shown on JanPal and the relevent subsequent website. i.e. Janitex, CleanQuip, etc.
We are looking for a developer who can produce a sharp looking website that is slick, snappy, very user freindly to go up against our comptitors (example competitors are: www.gompels.co.uk and www.avica-uk.com and www.onestopcleaningshop.co.uk and www.hope-education.co.uk and www.anderson-trade.co.uk)
We are looking to embark on this project pretty soon.
As to the platform to build on we're open to suggestions, however it will need to be something with a user-friendly, modern, easy-to-use and intuative admin / content management system and we want to avoid using a platform that has monthly subscription costs to run it.
We are also wanting a future proof platform where we can have the central admin / content management to be able to run a multi-site environment where we can have different web fronts on different domains ideally powered from a central admin point.
We are looking for a developer that knows what their doing, has a keen attention to detail and can provide examples of some ecommerce sites they've already built for other clients.
We will need to be able to upload PDF's against products where applicable, have multiple images, video's (all this is the same as what you expect to see on the www.gompels.co.uk website).
We also have the API documentation available.
