DoorDash Integration for C# POS
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need to expand my existing C-sharp point-of-sale system with a direct DoorDash connection focused strictly on order processing. When a customer places a DoorDash order, the details should drop straight into the POS ticket flow, trigger our standard payment logic, and immediately push a confirmation back to DoorDash—no live driver tracking or inventory sync is required.
Incoming orders must raise an in-app alert so staff see them alongside walk-in and phone orders. I already handle email and SMS elsewhere, so please keep notifications inside the application window only.
Because the core app is written in C# (.NET 6), I expect the integration as a clean, well-documented class library or service that plugs into the current solution without breaking existing builds. If you plan to use the official DoorDash developer API, that’s perfect—just encapsulate authentication, order retrieval, and confirmation calls behind an interface so future endpoints can be swapped easily.
Deliverables:
• C# source (class library or microservice) handling DoorDash order pull & confirmation push
• Updated UI component or event hook raising in-app notifications for new orders
• Brief setup guide and code comments so my team can maintain it
• A quick demo (video or live session) showing an order flow from DoorDash into the POS and the return confirmation
The project is scoped only to what’s described above; inventory updates, sales reporting, or real-time driver tracking are out of scope for now. If everything runs smoothly, we can discuss those phases later.
