Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electron developer to continue work on an in-progress AI-powered desktop transcription application. The app already includes core functionality such as transcription workflows, instruction-based processing, settings, tray integration, global hotkeys, floating UI, and local data management.

We now need someone who can take ownership of the remaining engineering work needed to complete feature integrations, improve stability, prepare the app for release, and support deployment readiness across platforms.

2. Scope of Work

Core product and integration work
- Complete remaining feature parity work with the latest desktop app reference
- Implement Google SSO integration
- Implement subscription management
- Support cross-device/backend-connected functionality where applicable

Release preparation and packaging
- Prepare production-ready desktop builds
- Create and validate installers
- Provide code signing guidance
- Support macOS notarization setup
- Assist with release packaging and publishing preparation

Stability and production hardening
- Improve runtime stability across desktop environments
- Add or improve application logging
- Implement crash handling hooks
- Improve performance where needed
- Resolve desktop-specific reliability issues such as:
* hotkeys
* tray interactions
* focus/input handling
* window behavior
* audio-related workflows

3. Remaining Work Includes
- Google Authentication / SSO integration
- Subscription management implementation
- Release packaging and production-readiness work
- Stability improvements and deployment support

4. Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who can step into an in-progress project, work pragmatically within the current architecture, complete the remaining integrations, improve release readiness, and help take the app to a stable production level.
