Desktop GPT Automation Connector
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a cross-platform desktop application (Windows and macOS) that feels just like ChatGPT yet goes a step further: every conversation should be able to trigger one of my custom GPT models and immediately pipe the result into another application. An everyday flow would be: I open the chat, speak a request through the microphone, the “Marketing” GPT generates an email template, and—without leaving the chat—the template is pushed to our CRM via its API and sent.
Key points you’ll be working on
• Desktop first: native installers for Windows and macOS.
• Dual interface: an intuitive GUI for general users and a CLI for scripted or headless use.
• Server hand-off: the app must authenticate with my existing MV server, relay prompts to selected GPT endpoints, and return responses in real time.
• Voice control: capture mic input and convert it to text before forwarding the prompt.
• Modular integrations: today it’s a CRM; tomorrow it might be Slack, HubSpot, or a custom webhook, so a clean plug-in layer is essential.
• Persistent history and usage logs stored locally with optional cloud sync.
Deliverables
1. GUI application (Win/MSI, macOS DMG) and a standalone CLI binary.
2. Well-commented source in a private repo plus build scripts.
3. API & integration documentation with a sample module that sends data to a REST endpoint.
4. Short video walkthrough demonstrating the marketing-email workflow working end-to-end.
