On-Demand Lot PDF Report
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a simple, reliable way to launch a PDF report from our Receipt screen and also from the Physical Inventory screen so that warehouse staff can immediately print the details for a single lot.
Here is what the finished feature must do:
• From either screen, a user clicks a “Print Lot” action and chooses the lot in question.
• A PDF is generated on-demand (no scheduled runs) and offered as a direct download in the browser.
• The PDF contains three data blocks drawn from the database in real time: product details, the selected lot number, and current inventory levels.
• Formatting should be clean and printer-friendly so the document can go straight to a thermal or laser printer without further tweaks.
You are free to use any reporting engine you prefer—Crystal Reports, Jasper, SSRS, or a lightweight HTML-to-PDF library—as long as the final output is a standard PDF and the user experience remains one-click simple. I will provide table structures and a test environment; you wire up the query, create the PDF template, and hook the call into both screens.
Deliverables:
1. Source code / report definition files
2. Instructions for deploying into our staging server
3. A short walkthrough video or screenshots proving the flow works end-to-end
Once everything is in staging and the printout looks correct, we will move to production.
