Project Title:
Defence Flight OTA Research & Architecture Consulting (India)
Project Overview:
I am planning to build a defence-focused flight booking OTA platform in India similar to:
faujiudan.in
www.easemytrip.com
www.udchalo.com
www.happyfares.in
These platforms often show defence fares significantly lower than normal public fares. Before starting development, I want an experienced OTA/travel-tech expert to help analyze how such systems likely work from inventory, API, supplier, and architecture perspectives.
Important:
This is NOT a direct website development project initially.
Phase 1 is a research + consulting + technical planning project.
Project Goals:
1. Analyze possible backend/inventory logic used by defence-focused OTAs
2. Research whether fares likely come from:
- airline direct contracts,
- consolidators,
- GDS/private fares,
- corporate inventories,
- or B2B OTA APIs
3. Identify APIs/suppliers most suitable for defence-focused OTA in India
4. Explain defence/private fare handling possibilities in OTA systems
5. Recommend the leanest low-cost MVP architecture
6. Suggest best supplier strategy for Phase 1 launch
7. Recommend scalable backend architecture for future expansion
8. Estimate likely API deposits, infra cost, and operational requirements
9. Suggest realistic roadmap for:
- MVP,
- scaling,
- and future airline-direct integrations
