Dashboard Quote & Email Fix
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
Our in-house dashboard was set up hastily and key features never worked as intended. Right now I can’t rely on it to create quotes, append accurate pricing, or email the finished proposal to customers—everything stalls at the moment I need it most.
Because the original developer left scant documentation I’m not even sure what framework or CMS sits underneath, so the first step is a quick audit of the codebase and database to see how things are wired together. From there I need you to repair—or, if faster, rebuild—the three core functions:
• Quote generation that pulls the correct product data and formats it cleanly
• A pricing module where I can enter or update figures without touching code
• One-click emailing that sends the final quote to the customer and logs the activity
Acceptance criteria
• All three functions operate end-to-end in the live environment without errors
• Quotes reflect real-time pricing changes I make in the dashboard
• Customers receive well-formatted emails (HTML & plain text) and I see a timestamped record of each send
• Clean, commented code and a brief hand-off note so my team can maintain it
If you’re comfortable reverse-engineering existing PHP/JS dashboards—or spinning up a fresh, lightweight alternative that meets the above goals—let’s talk.
