Daily XML Feed Shopify Integration

I have a supplier-generated XML feed and I want every item in that feed—product name and description, pricing and availability, plus all product images—pulled into my Shopify store automatically. The feed is refreshed by the supplier once a day, so the import must run on the same daily schedule to keep stock levels and prices current without manual uploads.

For the initial import, simply map the products using the categories exactly as they appear in the feed; my team will refine and reorganise them inside Shopify afterward. Standard Shopify fields are all I need, so no custom metafields or attributes have to be created.

What I expect from you:
• A clean, reliable integration (custom script, private app, or compatible middleware—whatever suits) that parses the XML, converts it to Shopify-ready data, and pushes it through the Shopify API.
• Automatic daily sync with clear logging or notification if an error occurs.
• A brief hand-off guide so I can adjust the schedule or restart the job if needed.

If you have previous experience handling large product feeds, XML parsing, and Shopify API rate limits, this should be straightforward. Once the integration is in place and proven to run for at least one full cycle without issues, the job is done.
