I need an AI assistant that focuses solely on fast, accurate information retrieval. Its job is simple but critical: whenever I ask a question on any topic, it should query reliable online databases and return concise, well-formatted answers backed by the original source links. I am not interested in task management or reminder features—just clean general-knowledge look-ups.

Core expectations
• Query recognised online knowledge bases (e.g., Wikipedia API, Wikidata, Open Library, or comparable public datasets).
• Parse results intelligently, filter out noise, and assemble a short, readable summary plus citations.
• Handle follow-up questions by refining or expanding the original search, rather than starting from scratch.
• Respond in under two seconds for typical queries.

Tech notes
I am comfortable with Python and REST APIs, so leveraging tools like Requests, BeautifulSoup, LangChain, or a lightweight vector database is fine—feel free to suggest alternatives if they improve speed or accuracy.

Deliverables
1. Well-structured, commented source code.
2. A brief README explaining setup, environment variables, and how to add new data sources later.
3. A short demo video or GIF proving the assistant can answer at least five varied knowledge questions with citations.

Acceptance criteria
