Customer-Facing Real-Time API Development
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
I need an end-to-end build of a public API that my customers can call directly. Its first job is to push real-time updates from our platform; the rest of the dataset is still being defined, so the codebase must be modular and easy to extend.
You are free to choose the stack—REST, GraphQL, or another pattern—so long as you justify the decision and implement industry-standard security, rate limiting, and clear error messaging. Expect the API to run in a cloud environment with CI/CD from the outset.
Deliverables
• Architecture document with proposed endpoints and data models
• Secure, scalable API implementation
• Real-time update mechanism (webhooks, WebSockets, or Server-Sent Events)
• Automated test suite integrated into CI/CD
• Swagger/OpenAPI spec plus a human-readable guide
Acceptance criteria
• Real-time endpoint responds in under 200 ms on staging
• All automated tests pass in the pipeline
• A new developer can integrate in under one hour using the supplied documentation
If this sounds like your kind of project, let’s talk through your approach and timeline.
