Custom Automation Platform Integrations
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are building a set of custom integrations/modules for the best automation platforms like n8n, Make.com, Pipedream, etc., on top of a lightweight Node.js API service.
We are looking to develop the following features:
Develop custom modules for n8n (Node/TypeScript)
Develop custom apps or modules for Make.com (using HTTP modules or OAuth)
Create Pipedream components (if you have experience)
Develop a small Node.js API service with the following features:
POST /schedule — store webhook tasks for later execution
DELETE /cancel/:id — cancel scheduled tasks
Queue processor (Redis + BullMQ or cron logic)
Webhook runner with error handling and retry capabilities
Set up PostgreSQL or Supabase for storage
Basic usage events and failure logging
If you can contribute to developing a simple metered usage tracking system or Stripe billing hook, you will receive a bonus, but it is optional for Phase 1.
Required Experience
Node.js and at least one web framework (Express, Fastify, etc.)
Experience with Redis and task queues (BullMQ, BeeQueue, Agenda, etc.)
Creating custom integrations or modules in n8n, Make.com, or Pipedream
Building public APIs with rate limiting and logging
Providing clean, testable, and well-documented code
Good to Have
You'll stand out if you've done any of the following:
Publishing modules to the n8n Community Node repository
Developing Make.com apps (partner or public)
Developing custom Pipedream components
Experience with Supabase, Fly.io, or Railway
Experience with Stripe metered billing API
Deploying via Docker using a simple CI/CD pipeline
Please do not apply if:
You have no experience building automation platform integrations
You cannot demonstrate hands-on experience with Redis or delayed task queues
You are outsourcing to a junior development team
We move quickly and will hire the right talent right away.
Results
- n8n custom node module
- Make.com app module
- Pipedream component
- API backend
- DB + persistence layer
- Logging + usage tracking
- Basic tests and examples
