Coinbase Crypto eCommerce Website
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need a full-stack developer who can take my idea for a Coinbase-powered cryptocurrency management site and turn it into a production-ready solution that plugs straight into my existing online store. The goal is to give customers a seamless way to pay, track, and manage their crypto while I keep control over security and compliance.
What the site must do
• Show a clean, paginated transaction history pulled in real time from the Coinbase Commerce API
• Convert incoming crypto values to fiat on the fly so customers always see prices in both currencies
• Let users store and manage multiple wallets from a single, intuitive dashboard
Security expectations
Two-factor authentication and a rock-solid user-auth flow come first. I also expect industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit, proper key management, and clear logging for audits.
Platform integration
I’m open to Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or another mainstream cart—the final choice can be part of your technical proposal. Whatever we choose, the hand-off should feel native to the shopper and easy for me to administer.
Tech stack guidelines
JavaScript or TypeScript on the front and back end (React, Next.js, or Vue paired with Node.js or a comparable framework) would fit best, but I’m flexible if you can justify an alternative. Dockerised deployment, version control in Git, and clear README-style documentation are all part of the brief.
Acceptance criteria
• All listed features run error-free in a staging environment
• Coinbase webhook events are handled idempotently and logged
• 2FA functions on both mobile and desktop flows
• Codebase passes a basic security scan and lint test
• I can hand the URL to a customer and watch them complete a crypto checkout without confusion
