Cloud Diameter Routing Service
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a Diameter routing agent delivered as a self-contained service that focuses strictly on message routing. The core requirement is the ability to take incoming Diameter traffic, apply routing logic, and forward it appropriately while maintaining full protocol compliance.
For authentication, the service must rely on native Diameter mechanisms rather than RADIUS, TACACS+ or CHAP. In practice that means supporting standard Diameter AVPs for authentication and ensuring inter-operability with existing Diameter-based network elements.
Two network elements must plug in seamlessly:
• Policy servers (PCRF)
• Charging systems (OCS)
Your deliverable should expose the routing engine through an interface or API that lets me define routing rules and integrate it into our production environment without downtime. A straightforward deployment model—ideally a Docker image or similar container—is preferred so I can spin up multiple instances for redundancy.
Before hand-off, I will validate:
• End-to-end message flow: PCRF → agent → OCS and back
• Correct application of routing rules under load
• Clean startup/shutdown with standard logging and monitoring hooks
If you work comfortably with Diameter stacks, PCRF/OCS integration, and containerised deployments, we should be able to move quickly.
