CartonCloud Data Studio Dashboards
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
I’ve already connected our CartonCloud WMS to Starshipit but the reporting side is still a blank canvas. Right now my top priority is to surface clear, real-time insights through Google Data Studio, with a focus on three views: current inventory levels, order-fulfilment performance, and finance-oriented snapshots that tie back to Xero to allow invoicing from CartonCloud due to tailored rate cards per client.
What I need from you
• Map the CartonCloud data model and expose the right endpoints (API or flat file) so Data Studio can consume stock, order and financial data without manual exports.
• Build a reliable, automated refresh pipeline—BigQuery, direct connector or your preferred method is fine so long as it stays future-proof and requires minimal upkeep.
• Design the initial dashboards: inventory health, fulfilment KPIs and financial summaries. I’m looking for drill-downs, filters by SKU or customer, and clean visual storytelling rather than eye-candy.
• Document the setup so my team can tweak fields or add visuals later.
Nice-to-have (not essential for this first engagement)
• Review the current CartonCloud–Xero link and suggest optimisations.
• Advice on migrating these same views into Power BI if we decide to widen our toolset later.
Acceptance criteria
1. Dashboards load in under ten seconds and auto-refresh on the schedule we agree.
2. Figures in Data Studio reconcile with CartonCloud and Xero to within 0.5 %.
3. Handover doc or loom video showing data flow, connector settings and how to clone/adjust reports.
I’m happy to treat this as a standalone project, but if our systems hum along smoothly there’s scope for weekly optimisation work on a retainer. Let me know your approach, estimated timeline, and any past examples of WMS-to-Data Studio reporting you’ve delivered.
