Barcode-Driven Hub Management

Job ID: 40174541

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I need a hub management system purpose-built for the non-perishable goods we move through our facility each day. The core of the platform is accurate, real-time inventory tracking that updates every time a pallet, carton, or single item is scanned with a barcode reader. From intake to outbound loading, the count on screen must match what is physically on the floor.

Beyond keeping the numbers straight, I rely on clear, actionable reporting. Daily, weekly, and monthly analytics should be available at a glance and exportable (CSV or PDF) so I can share performance snapshots with the wider team.

A clean web interface is preferred so staff can log in from any workstation or tablet on the warehouse Wi-Fi. Tech stack is flexible as long as it supports quick barcode input, low-latency updates, user permissions, and a straightforward path for future add-ons such as order processing.

Acceptance criteria
• Scanning any valid barcode instantly adjusts on-hand quantities and triggers an on-screen confirmation
• Discrepancy alerts fire when physical counts and system counts diverge beyond a set tolerance
• Dashboards display current stock, inbound/outbound flow, and aging inventory, with one-click export
• Complete admin documentation and hand-off session delivered at project close

If you have experience building similar warehouse or 3PL platforms, I’d like to see a short demo or code sample to confirm performance and usability align with our pace of operations.
