Backend API Integration Developer

I am expanding an existing backend and need a developer whose main focus is clean, reliable API integration. The core task is to connect our services and data flow through well-structured endpoints, handle authentication and error management, then document everything so future iterations are straightforward.

Right now the project is agnostic about whether the final implementation is RESTful, GraphQL, or even SOAP; the important part is that the integration is efficient, secure, and easy to maintain. You will be free to recommend the protocol that best suits the use-case once you have reviewed the current architecture.

Deliverables
• Fully working integration code merged into the repository
• Clear setup & deployment instructions
• Postman (or similar) collection and short README for quick testing
