Automate Purchase Order Approvals

I’m ready to remove the manual steps from our purchase-order workflow. My goal is a module—web-based or API driven—that takes a PO request, instantly generates the document, and routes it for sign-off without human intervention.

Core requirements
• Automated approval workflow: once a request is submitted, the system must determine the right approvers, notify them, record each decision, and move the PO to the next stage until it’s fully approved or rejected.
• Role-based access control: every action must respect the permission matrix I’ll provide, so users only view and approve the orders they are authorised for.
• Audit trail & status visibility: I need a clear log of each step plus an at-a-glance status indicator for requesters and approvers.

I’ll provide the role hierarchy, field templates, and endpoint specs from our ERP. You’ll deliver well-documented code, a brief deployment guide, and a walkthrough video. A PO must be generated and routed in under 10 seconds, and the audit log should capture timestamp, user, and action for every step.

If you’ve built similar procurement, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Odoo, or custom REST integrations, please let me know; otherwise, any robust tech stack is fine as long as you meet the performance and security targets.
