AWS + React Frontend Developer Needed to Audit and Fix News Website (1–2 Hour Task)
We’re looking for a skilled developer to audit and optimize a media/news website currently running on an EC2 instance. The backend is built with Express and AWS services (S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB), and the frontend is built with Vite/React and served statically.
The job involves:
• Checking that all API routes are functional and returning data correctly
• Ensuring the frontend is fully mobile-responsive
.Ensuring we can post articles, upload pictures, videos, and our backend admin area is passworded.
• Troubleshooting any content not rendering (e.g., top stories not showing)
• Making sure deployment/environment variables are set up cleanly
• Verifying Stripe integration (subscriptions via monthly/yearly pricing IDs)
• Offering a short summary of what was fixed or improved
Requirements:
• Proven experience with AWS EC2, Express, Vite, React
• Comfort navigating Linux-based EC2 instances
• Familiarity with Stripe API and basic cron jobs
• Attention to mobile optimization and clean debugging
