Appigee Architect for API Revamp

I need an Apigee specialist at true architect level to refine and extend a set of existing APIs currently running on the platform. The proxies are in production today, but they have grown organically and now require a structured approach that brings them in line with best-practice design, security and observability standards.

Your mission will cover three concrete areas:

• Design robust, reusable API proxies that abstract backend changes without breaking consumers.
• Implement all necessary security policies—OAuth 2.0, JWT validation, spike arrest, quota and any additional shields you recommend.
• Configure end-to-end monitoring and analytics so I have actionable insight into traffic patterns, errors and latency.

I will provide full access to the current Apigee organisation, sample payloads and documentation. Please bring deep, hands-on experience with Apigee Edge or Apigee X, a clear rationale for the policies you choose, and a proven process for migrating updated proxies with zero downtime.
