Android MDM Integration Specialist
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have an enterprise mobility project that hinges on solid Mobile Device Management for a fleet of Android tablets and phones. I need one person who can move comfortably between hands-on Android coding and backend systems integration.
On the Android side, you will work with Device Owner APIs, Android Enterprise, and the latest SDK features to create (or extend) an agent that handles enrollment, remote configuration, policy enforcement, and secure app distribution. Custom UI work is minimal; the focus is on reliable background services, zero-touch enrollment, kiosk mode, remote wipe, and compliance checks.
On the integration side, you will stitch this agent into our existing infrastructure through RESTful APIs and webhooks. That includes authenticating against our identity provider, pushing policy payloads from our admin portal, and streaming device telemetry into our monitoring stack. Experience with popular MDM platforms such as Intune, AirWatch, SOTI, or similar will help, but the core deliverable is an end-to-end Android Enterprise solution that we fully control.
Deliverables
• Android Device Owner agent (compiled APK + source)
• API layer or middleware that connects the agent to our portal (documented endpoints)
• Deployment scripts or instructions for zero-touch/QR enrollment
• Technical documentation covering build, configuration, and operational runbooks
• A short demo session showing successful enrollment, policy push, and remote action execution
Acceptance criteria: a new device should be enrolled in under two minutes, receive its policy set immediately, report status within 30 seconds, and accept at least one remote lock or wipe command without manual intervention.
