Advanced Airtable-Calendar Sync Automation

I need a reliable, code-level bridge between my Airtable base and Google Calendar that keeps every key date in perfect step. The base tracks three separate fields—class sessions, assignment deadlines, and exams—and each should appear as its own event in the calendar. Whenever I add, edit, or delete a record, the corresponding event must adjust automatically so I never touch the calendar by hand.

Here’s what matters to me:

• Tooling
I’m looking for a direct Airtable API + Google Calendar API solution rather than Zapier or Integromat. Pick the language you’re most comfortable with (Node.js, Python, or Apps Script all work) as long as the code is clean and well-documented.

• Event structure
– Custom title pulled from the record (for example, “BIO101 – Mid-Term Exam”).
– The “Detailed agenda” field from Airtable should map to the event’s description.
– Default reminder/notification set for each event (feel free to suggest the cleanest way to manage this).

• Sync behaviour
– One-way push from Airtable to Google Calendar, but it must update and delete events to reflect any change in Airtable.
– Handle multiple calendars if I decide to separate classes from assessments.
– Respect time zones stored in Airtable or fallback to my account’s default.

Deliverables
1. Fully working script or cloud function with source code.
2. A short README that explains setup (API keys, environment variables, scheduling).
3. Quick video or screenshots proving it runs end-to-end on your side.

Acceptance criteria
✓ Creating, editing, or deleting a record in Airtable updates Google Calendar within the scheduled sync window.
✓ Event titles, descriptions, and reminders match the rules above.
✓ No duplicate events after multiple sync cycles.
