API + Web Interface Developer for (RMH) Integration
Description:
We are looking for a skilled developer (or team) to build a custom API and web-based interface to integrate with our Retail Management Hero (RMH) system. This solution will serve as a powerful dashboard to track and manage product-level data including cost, sales, profit, and provide actionable insights using forecasting and sales analytics.
Project Requirements:
1. API Development:
Build a secure and scalable REST API (or GraphQL if preferred).
Pull data directly from the RMH SQL Server database.
Core functionalities must include:
Track product cost, sales, and profit in real time.
Edit product details (name, price, cost, description, etc.) via API.
2. Web Interface:
Create a clean, responsive web interface/dashboard to:
View product metrics (cost, sales, profit).
Perform CRUD operations on products.
View detailed product history and trends.
3. Advanced Features (Phase 2):
Sales forecasting for each product based on historical data (weekly/monthly/yearly).
Identify best-selling and worst-selling items with filters by category, date range, or brand.
Optional: Export reports to Excel/CSV.
Skills Required:
Strong experience with SQL Server (RMH uses SQL backend).
Proficiency in Node.js, .NET, or Python for API (open to suggestions).
Frontend: React / Vue / Angular (must be responsive and fast).
Experience integrating with POS or retail management systems is a big plus.
Forecasting/statistical modeling knowledge is a plus.
Deliverables:
Full source code (backend + frontend).
Deployment guide and setup instructions.
Documentation for API endpoints and usage.
Optional: Host on our server (if you offer deployment support).
