API-Powered Data Collection Dashboard

Job ID: 40283836

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a web-based interface that pulls live transaction data from several third-party APIs, stores it in a structured database, and presents it through an interactive dashboard. The flow is straightforward: the system contacts each external API on a configurable schedule, cleans and normalises the incoming transactions, then makes them instantly explorable for end-users.

Users will never touch a raw table. Instead, they will click through a responsive dashboard that supports real-time filtering, drill-downs, and export. To make that experience meaningful I must see, at a minimum, the following visual elements:

• Charts and graphs
• Tables and lists
• Maps and geolocation data

Feel free to choose the stack you are most productive with—React or Vue on the front end and Node, Python, or similar on the back end are all acceptable—as long as the code is clean, documented, and container-ready (Docker or similar). Secure API key management, rate-limit handling, and graceful error messaging are essential.

Deliverables
1. A fully functional web application deployed to a staging URL I can test.
2. Source code in a private Git repository with clear setup instructions.
3. A short guide showing how to add a new API connector and extend the visualisations.

Acceptance criteria
• All three visualisation types render correctly on desktop and mobile.
• Data refresh automatically reflects new transactions without page reload.
• Adding a new API requires no more than one configuration file and one mapping script.

If you have shipped a similar data platform before and can demo a working prototype quickly, you will be a perfect fit for this job.
