API Creation & Integration for Maintenance Platform

Build & Integrate API for Custom CMMS Platform (Java Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, React)
Project Description:
Hi! I’m building a custom maintenance coordination platform. I need a professional developer to create and integrate a secure, well-documented REST API that allows my system to communicate with client ERPs (like Microsoft Dynamics 365) and vendor systems.
What I Need:
Develop backend API endpoints for:
Creating, updating, and retrieving work orders, assets, and vendor info
Authentication (preferably OAuth2 or Firebase Auth)
Secure access control with role-based permissions
Implement webhook support for real-time status updates (optional but preferred)
Ensure API documentation using Swagger or Postman
Provide email/PDF export fallback for vendors without API access
Support secure data handling and encryption best practices
Assist with deployment and provide instructions for future maintenance
Tech Stack:
Backend: Java Spring Boot
Database: PostgreSQL
Frontend: React (some API frontend interactions)
Authentication: Firebase Auth or OAuth2 preferred
Who I’m Looking For:
Professional with proven experience building secure, scalable APIs
Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance software is a bonus
Strong communication skills and responsiveness
Located in South Australia preferred (but open to remote with good overlap)
Able to provide clean, well-documented code and handover materials
Project Timeline & Budget:
Estimated 40–60 hours of work
Budget: $1,400–$2,000 USD at $30/hour (flexible depending on experience)
Phased delivery preferred: Core API first, then optional features
