URGENT MediaWiki help needed, possible MariaDB won't start on Ubuntu 20.04
Budget: $25 – $65 USD
My MediaWiki site is down due, possibly, to a database access issue with MariaDB 10.5.22. I suspect disk space might be full, possibly due to recent hosting changes after Colohouse got taken over by Hivelocity.
I need an experienced Linux sysadmin with MediaWiki expertise to:
- Diagnose and fix the database issue
- Check and manage disk space
- Potentially restore from backups (if available)
And, once we get the site up again, I need someone for ongoing upgrades and help. Probably a few weeks worth work, at least.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Linux server management
- Experienced with MariaDB and MediaWiki
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Good communication for possibly a phone call
I can provide you with root access to the server and considerable other starting information. I *think* the site was running Mediawiki 1.38.4.
