I'm seeking a Senior GemFire Consultant or Administrator to support our enterprise-grade caching and data grid infrastructure. This is a short-term, high-priority engagement with potential for extension based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup, configure, and manage Pivotal GemFire (or Apache Geode) clusters in production environments.
- Ensure high availability, failover, and data consistency across distributed systems.
- Performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of GemFire caches and regions.
- Collaborate with our DevOps and Application teams to integrate with Java/Spring-based microservices.
- Document processes, provide knowledge transfer, and operational guidelines.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Senior-level expertise in GemFire/Geode.
- Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong background in performance tuning and high availability setup.
- Experience with Java/Spring-based microservices.
- Excellent documentation and knowledge transfer skills.
