We need to implement AES-128 or AES-256 encryption for securing sensitive user data stored in a MariaDB database. Our backend is built with PHP & MySQL, hosted on a Hostinger VPS.
The goal is to encrypt data before storing it in the database and decrypt it when retrieving. We need functions that integrate seamlessly with our existing PHP codebase.
