WebSphere MQ, IIB/ACE. ESQL, Datapower Kafka Jenkins Integration Specialist
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I need an experienced integration engineer who can move comfortably across IBM WebSphere, Apache Kafka and Jenkins. All three platforms are in active use, so depth in each is essential.
On the WebSphere side you’ll both develop and administer IIB/ACE message flows. Expect to create new integrations, refactor existing ones, tune performance and handle deployment automation. MQ and DataPower are equally important in our landscape, so you should be able to configure queues, security, high-availability and the corresponding policies on DataPower.
Kafka underpins a real-time event pipeline. I’m looking for someone who understands topic design, partitioning, replication, monitoring and day-to-day administration. Experience writing and optimising producers/consumers is a plus.
Jenkins drives our CI/CD and also triggers scheduled jobs that behave like classic cron tasks. You’ll maintain the pipelines, update Groovy scripts and ensure smooth hand-offs between Kafka jobs and WebSphere deployments.
Deliverables
• Fully working IIB/ACE message flows deployed on WebSphere, with corresponding MQ/DataPower configurations
• A stable, well-monitored Kafka cluster with documented scripts for topic management and consumer group monitoring
• Jenkins pipelines and scripted jobs that can be executed on-demand or on schedule, with clear rollback steps
• Operational documentation that lets my in-house team pick up day-to-day support
If you’ve successfully combined these technologies before and can prove it with past work or demos, let’s talk and get started right away.
