Compustock Food Stocktaking App:
1. Back End (Administration).
- Cloud Based with login via laptop
- Easy Change Admin features to all aspect of Database for any client ie Vat rates, PRODUCT CHANGES, etc
- Everybody has access to any Client Database in back end
- Must make Spread sheets look more professional
- Company logo must be visible on all spread sheets as well as all PDF reports
- Must be compatible with any android device tablet or phone
- Reports must be in PDF Format and reports are as follows – Overall Food Inc everything , Food report not including Tea and coffee etc and a report with just tea and coffee.
- Visual base reports inc Pivot table or graphs etc cost of items counted all categories beverage meat fish etc , Purchase reports again pivot tables graphs for all suppliers etc percentage of food purchase by supplier vs sales at retail etc waste reports all areas noted
- Easy changes to stocktake counts, purchases, sales etc even after stock report completed

2. Front end ( Stocktaking app)
- Scan Barcode of item through Camera on tablet or phone
- Info display on scanning of item are as follows
I. Item Full Description
II. Brand name Knorr, Musgraves etc
III. Cost price euro
IV. Barcode number
V. Previous qty counted
VI. Current Qty count
- Must be able to extract correct client database for purpose of that particular stock take.
- Must link to Excel spread sheets were sales , purchases and waste is imputed.
- Look up functions must be on app so to search for items with no barcodes chicken breasts lemons etc.
- New items not on the database to be stored in a special file so it can be accessed at a later stage for all info to be imputed and updated into client database.
- Smart learning where an item maybe in another database and when item name is typed in the system may suggest item description based on item name imputed.
- Login system via app so anybody can access different databases on demand
- Employee number required to start a stocktake Time date and employee number recorded
- On completion of a stocktake message displayed to warn that closing stock will become opening stock for next stock .
- Logs are a must to look at stock being conducted .
